One of the things we celebrate at Bone + Marrow is how each individual uniquely shows up in the world. More often than not, we curate Enneagram gifts, personality gifts, and holiday gifts based on what makes us unique, but every now and then we like to highlight the real people behind the labels, or in the case, the Enneagram types.
Meet Natalie. Natalie is a fun mama, wife, and women’s pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. Today, we’re excited to continue our series on Holiday Enneagram Traditions where we will explore how the Enneagram plays a role in the holidays by introducing you to Natalie who leads with an Enneagram 7.
May you be inspired to see, know, and celebrate PEOPLE this year alongside each of the holidays we celebrate.

Natalie, tell us about your favorite holiday.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are my most favorite.
So, what’s your favorite part of this season?
The holidays look like family, food, fun and making memories. I love taking photos and wearing matching PJ’s and baking cookies and spending time on the couch watching movies and the first fire of the season in the fireplace. It’s trips to Hobby Lobby and special deserts at our favorite restaurants and family drives through the mountains.
As an Enneagram 7, what do you value or expect during the holidays?
New adventures and time spent with friends and family. I value intimate conversations but also big events filled with laughter, food and dreaming about what the next year will bring!
Tell us how knowing the Enneagram has affected or changed how you show up during the holidays.
I want to give people the same experiences I hope for myself! I want everyone to feel joy, expectation, anticipation and hope so I create that in my home and in every gathering I attend. I want my children to remember every holiday in a new way and to experience that same excitement I feel when I look ahead to the future.
Tell us about your favorite holiday tradition growing up, and why it was meaningful to you.
We always gathered with our extended family and spent time around the table with each other laughing, in comfy clothes watching football. We valued time together, we never took that time for granted and I always knew I was loved. Playing touch football with uncles and cousins, fighting over the last brownies my Aunt Judy always made…we always made family the most important part of the holidays!
Oh we love getting to know more about Natalie and the holiday Enneagram traditions and expectations that go along with it.
